Self portrait 

Students in the 2nd grade studied the famous Mexican artist Frida Kahlo, her life, and her work. They observed many things through viewing several of her paintings and learned many facts about Frida. Most importantly, they observed that Frida wasn’t afraid to depict herself as she was. Students talked about the many attributes that make them special and like Frida, they drew themselves as they are. Take a look at their work!!
