In the 4th grade, this student believed he couldn’t draw or make art. The beauty of teaching art is watching students’ creative journeys unfold. I couldn’t be more proud of this student. Once he found art, art found him and has been a life changer for him. His story and many others remind me daily that I chose the right profession.
