I embarked on a journey to Kenya to share the magic of the DreamAfrica (Now DreamGalaxy) platform with the talented teachers of Nairobi. I spent 2 days sharing how DreamAfrica can be integrated across all content areas and of course the arts. I can’t begin to express how amazing it was to share time and space with fellow teachers learning about their educational system, cultural practices, perspectives & more. Professionally and personally it was such an amazing experience. Beyond the teachers & DreamAfrica team teaching me Swahili, I was most touched by them naming me “Achieng” which is Luo for “Born when the sun shines”. Asante sana to the team for trusting in my expertise and allowing me to share my passion for education with them & the teachers of Nairobi. Xo #WeDreamAfrica #walkinginmypurpose #Work
