Kindergarten students just completed a unit on primary & secondary colors. As a follow up to their study, they were introduced to artist Piet Mondrian and his famous works of art. They immediately noticed that Piet Mondrian frequently used primary colors in his works. Inspired by his works, artists used black construction paper strips, gluestick, and primary colors to create their own primary color works of art.
