Pinch Pots

A pinch pot is an ancient as well as contemporary form of pottery. Students in the 5th grade learned about pinch pots in various cultures and their unique roles. They discussed the brief history of pinch pots and learned the basic pinching technique used to create them. Students then had an opportunity to create their own using the techniques the learned. They later beautified them with acrylic paint. Take a look at their creations!!
